YOUR HEALTH AND THE PROTECTION OF OUR ENVIRONMENT ARE OUR PRIORITIES.
Your health is a priority, and we integrate it at the heart of our commitments.
For your well-being, Brasserie de Tahiti offers you more choices and information, encourages regular physical activity, and adopts responsible marketing.
CHOICE
We offer a wide range of beverages tailored to each consumer and every moment of life, increasingly incorporating options with no sugar or reduced sugar.
Thanks to the work of our teams, new formulations have been developed in recent years, reducing the sugar content in many beverages while preserving all the favorite flavors of our consumers.
INFORMATION AND EDUCATION
We support awareness campaigns to encourage a balanced diet.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
Throughout the year, Brasserie de Tahiti collaborates with numerous sports associations to encourage regular physical activity and promote an active and balanced lifestyle to the widest audience.
RESPONSIBLE MARKETING
We are committed to adopting responsible marketing.
Brasserie de Tahiti has adopted an ETHICAL COMMITMENT CHARTER, which defines the rules the company has set for itself regarding sugary beverages in its activities (advertising, packaging, distribution, sponsorship, etc.).
RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION
Responsible consumption means enjoying alcoholic beverages without harming your health, quality of life, or that of others. Brasserie de Tahiti aims to share some information with you so that your consumption remains synonymous with pleasure, sharing, and conviviality.
MODERATION IN ALL THINGS!
The alcohol unit is used to measure (universally) alcohol consumption. This unit is precisely defined by the World Health Organization.
It corresponds to 10 grams of pure alcohol.
To have responsible consumption, it is recommended not to consume more than:
- 2 alcohol units per day for women.
- 3 alcohol units per day for men.
- 4 units for occasional consumption
Following these recommendations does not guarantee the absence of risk, as each person reacts differently depending on their body size, gender, and health condition.
Experts consider, however, that this risk is low; on the other hand, the more one exceeds the defined limits, the greater the risk.
In many circumstances and high-risk situations, this guideline is zero:
- During pregnancy
- During the breastfeeding period
- During the use of certain medications
- In the case of certain diseases (epilepsy, pancreatitis, viral hepatitis, psychiatric disorders, etc.)
- When one is a former alcoholic
- During childhood and adolescence
- During driving
- In the case of high-risk work
- When using dangerous machinery
- This is a non-exhaustive list; please consult your healthcare provider for more information
THE EFFECTS OF ALCOHOL WHILE DRIVING
Alcohol affects the brain and reduces the ability to drive:
- Narrowing of the visual field
- Reduced alertness and resistance to fatigue
- Slower reflexes
- Impaired ability to judge distances
- Increased sensitivity to glare
- Excessive self-confidence, etc
ETHICAL CHARTER
For many years, raising public awareness about responsible consumption has been part of the commitments of Brasserie de Tahiti. The company ensures the education and information of consumers about the dangers of alcohol: alerts on labels, specific messages dedicated to pregnant women, site restrictions for minors, various warnings.
To go further, the company has adopted an ethical charter that defines the rules regarding advertising and communication, as well as packaging, distribution, and prevention activities, all with the sole aim of supporting responsible consumption.
